Well, it's been a while since my last update so due to my apparent boredom I will finally update my Lj. Not so much has been going on with me as of late. School is coming closer and and closer, and i think I'm really looking forward to going out to Halifax (if only they had a Starbucks...damn, looks like it's suicide for me ;)

Summer has definitely had its ups and downs so far. A lot of drama due to one "special" genius of a person. Luckily, I can now write that subject line and have it mean something true. Way to fuck yourself over! hehehe good job! In the words of Jerry Seinfeld: "You're the number one loser".

Work is awesome, Starbucks has got to be one of the better jobs I've had. So much fun to joke with the other staff and the customers, and one can't forget about all of the free caffeine they're throwing at me. I'll just have to live off of that in Halifax. At leas one thing will be constant in my dorm room...it will always smell good. I still can't believe that I;m leaving in less than a month. It's gonna be quite the transition living on my own, finally, away from parents but I think it will be good for me, not to mention the unrestricted drinking...how could that end badly?

Well i guess thats all for now, and I know I've said this before but I will start updating more, especially when I'm away. 'Till next time, "Keep your pets spayed and neutered" - Ya gotta love Bob Barker!

I don't know how you could do this to me? I don't know what went wrong. Everything was going great, and for the first time in a while I was actually happy...and now I'm so depressed and angry i could scream. I have no idea what went wrong, and if it was something I said or did to you then you should have told me at the time. You know how much i cared for you, and that I would never intentionally do anything to hurt you. I thought you knew that after all of those conversations we had. This came as a complete shock to me, and I don't think there was anything that i did wrong. If there was you should have told me and I would have stopped immediately. You know that. The past month was amazing, and I was finally beginning to be truly happy again.. I had a great friend who I could confide in if I needed to me, and I felt that you could do the same. Now I don't know what is going to happen, will I be able to forgive you for this hurt...I don't know. What I do know is that you really, really hurt me and I don't know why. Maybe you weren't ready yet, maybe you needed more time, I don't know. All I do know is that I have now lost someone who was extremely close to me and who I felt that I could tell anything. Now when I look back on the good times we had before they will be tainted because of what you did to me. The fact that you did exactly what he-who-shall-not-be-named did to you shows to me that you didn't really care about me at all...ever If you did, this would have never happened the way it did. I told you how I felt, and I thought you felt the same. Now I know that it was all a lie. As much as I liked you, and still like you I don;t know what will become of our friendship. I hope that you will at least give me an honest and sincere explanation for the happenings of the past few days. I deserve at least that much. We'll see what happens from there.

Well, like you Jen, I too am awake at the ungodly hour of 3:31A.M. Why is this you ask, well i have no idea so I decided to get out of my bed for lack of sleep and write about the day and evening.

The day was pretty much the usual, woke up at around 12:00 and sat on my ass most of the day. I had my Dragonboat BBQ later on that day so I had to go shopping for food and stuff (very eventful). The BBQ was a lot of fun and went really well. The food was great, no thanks to my great bbq skills hehehehe, and my teammates all chipped in and got me the greatest T-shirt ever. It's Ralph from the Simpsons saying "I'M SPECIAL". I was very touched. Avra and jen came over during the BBQ, ate some salad, met some of the ppl, and then receded to my bedroom where they fell asleep for a few hour. I probably would have been happier in there than where I was but the host has to stay with the guests wait... Jen and Avra were guests...ahhhh what was I thinking. LoL. after the party my buddies came over and we all chilled for a while, cracking *ahem jokes about me, but still having fun nonetheless. We somehow decided to go swimming at benno's for some reason. The water was a little cold but we all managed. some more than others. *Avra are you cold or do you always hold or breasts when you swim? and Jen *come on in, the waters great, even if I have to hold you close. It was great too get together with everyone that night, and all in all it was a lot of fun.
Just being around you around is great...just knowing you're there to cuddle and hold tight is enough for me, sometimes that's all anyone needs. The cottage will be awesome for the both of us I hope...I think. Maybe tomorrow we can spend a little bit of time together alone while you're not asleep LoL jk.

We Are The Champions!!!

After an entire year of hard work and dedication it's finally over...The dragonboat season is done and yes, we are the champions of the Toronto International Dragonboat Festival B Division with a time of 2:17 seconds. So much work and dedication went into winning this championship back for the 2nd time (last year we won also), and I'm so proud of everyone that took part in it. Being the assistant coach was a great experience for me, and I personally loved it. Meeting new people, and allowing them to get to know me was one of the things that I like to do the most...besides Dragonboat of course.

The day was long, and the night even longer, but it was still awesome nonetheless. I had a huge amount of fun during, in between, and after the races, and afterwards at the dinner (YOU CALL THIS A STEAK!!?!?!?!) I can;t move my legs too well this morning...Is that a bad thing?

O man the night after the dinner with Jen and Jalarva was interesting to put it mildly. "Jen, if u don't wake up I'm gonna die in the morning, as much as I want you guys to stay you have to leave" LoL. The cottage is gonna be awesome, I'm really looking forward to it and the fun to be had. Avra and Laura, I hope the walls aren't too thin ;) but who knows what will happen up there. Firstly we have to get there...ummm Avra, where is your cottage, I might need to know this information, but that can come later on.

Well I'm finally done. No more high school forever, and it feels awesome. My last exam was a breeze, and tonight is gonna be tons of fun (PARTY!!!). If only jen would have called me when she was supposed to, maybe we could have hung out like we planned...LAST NIGHT LoL whatever. Next year is gonna be different but great all the same. I promise to everyone, i will not loose touch even though I'm out East, I'll still have MSN, and a cell phone, and I'm coming in as much as I possibly can. I know "the three Musketeers" (you know who you are) will miss me and i know I'll miss them but I will stay in touch. Thats all for now i guess, but let me leave you with this thought:

...You know what I never get with the limo? The tinted windows. Is that so people don't see you? Yeah, what a better way not to have people notice you than taking a thirty foot Cadillac with a TV antenna and a uniformed driver. How discreet. Nobody cares who's in the limo. You see a limo go by, you know it's either some rich jerk or fifty prom kids with $1.75 each.

...Are there keys to a plane? Maybe that's what those delays are sometimes, when you're just sitting there at the gate. Maybe the pilot sits up there in the cockpit going, "Oh, I don't believe this. Dammit..I did it again." They tell you it's something mechanical because they don't want to come on the P.A. system, "Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to be delayed here on the ground for a while. I uh..Oh, God this is so embarrassing...I, I left the keys to the plane in my apartment. They're in this big ashtray by the front door. I'm sorry, I'll run back and get them."

...You can measure distance by time. "How far away is it?" "Oh about 20 minutes." But it doesn't work the other way. "When do you get off work?" "Around 3 miles."

DEATH

...The Chalk Outline guy's got a good job. Not too dangerous, the criminals are long gone. I guess these are people who wanted to be sketch artists but they couldn't draw very well. "Uh, listen, Jon, forget the sketches, do you think if we left the dead body right there on the sidewalk you could manage to trace around it?"

How does that help them solve the crime? They look at the thing on the ground, "Oh, his arm was like that when he hit the pavement....the killer must have been...Jim."

THAT'S ODD

...I had a parakeet that used to fly around the house and crash into these huge mirrors my mother put in. Ever heard of this interior design principle, that a mirror makes it seem like you have an entire other room? What kind of jerk walks up to a mirror and goes, "Hey look, there's a whole other room in there. There's a guy that looks just like me in there."

But the parakeet would fall for this. I'd let him out of his cage, he'd fly right into the mirror. And I'd always think, "Even if he thinks the mirror is another room, why doesn't he at least try to avoid hitting the other parakeet?"

...Kids could always resolve any dispute by calling it. One of them will say, "I got the front seat." "I want the front seat." "I called it." And the other kid has no recourse. "He called it, what can I do?" If there was a kid court of law it holds up. "You Honor, my client did ask for the front seat." The judge says, "Did he call it?" "Well, no, he didn't call it..." He bangs the gavel. "Objection overruled. He has to call it. Case closed."

ON DOGS

...A dog will stay stupid. That's why we love them so much. The entire time we know them, they're idiots. Think of your dog. Everytime you come home , he thinks it's amazing. He has no idea how you accomplish this every day. You walk in the door, the joy of this experience overwhelms him. He looks at you, HE'S BACK, IT'S THAT GUY, THAT SAME GUY. He can't believe it. Everything is amazing to your dog. ANOTHER CAN OF FOOD? I DON'T BELIEVE IT.

Dogs want to be people. That's what their lives are about. They don't like being a dog. They're with people all the time, they want to graduate. My dog would sit there all day, he would watch me walk by, he would think to himself, I COULD DO THAT! HE'S NOT THAT GOOD.

That's why the greatest, most exciting moment in the life of a dog is the front seat of your car. You and him in the front seat. It's the only place where your head and his are on the exact same level. He sits up there, he thinks, THIS IS MORE LIKE IT. YOU AND ME TOGETHER, THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. He looks out the front. What's he looking at? He's a dog. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE - A RIGHT OR A LEFT? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE I AM.

They have a hard time. They stand up, they sit down, they can't handle the turn either way. No matter which way you turn, he's not ready. They don't know what to do. And then comes the great moment of frustration. You stop someplace and get something to eat. This kills him. You get a hamburger, this blows his mind. INSTANT FOOD WHENEVER YOU WANT IT? You know what this means to him? You ever see the look on his face? He looks over at you. HOW'D YOU GET THAT? ARE THEY GIVING IT TO EVERYBODY NOW? YOU THINK I COULD GET ONE? They can't get anything.

Well it's finally here, the end of school and the prom...so glad it's finally here and i can say goodbye to Yorkmills, at least for a year. Im definitely looking forward to the drink run that is happening tomorrow at some point. Vodka, Beer, maybe even a little scotch, who knows...maybe I'll just buy a bartender to follow me around for the night (that would be AWESOME!!!). Well, just like Jen, and I'm sure Laura, I miss Avra too but I too am going to have to get used to not seeing her since I'm going out east next year. And Jen, I hope you get to come to the party tomorrow night, it's gonna be a lot of fun, or so I'm told. I can't promise a small couch for two, and a certain someone pushing me into a wall, but I can definitely guarantee a good time with lots of drinks (AND NO HARRY POTTER AT 4 IN THE MORNING, unless it's the new one).

BASIC RULES FOR DRIVING IN TORONTO
1. Turn signals will give away your next move. A real Toronto driver never uses them.

2. Under no circumstance should you leave a safe distance between you and the car in front of you, or the space will be filled in by somebody else, putting you in an even more dangerous situation.

3. The faster you drive through a red light, the smaller the chance you have of getting hit.

4. Never, ever come to a complete stop at a stop sign. No one expects it and it will result in you being rear-ended.

5. Never get in the way of an older car that needs extensive bodywork. Ontario is a no-fault insurance province and the other guy doesn't have anything to lose.

6. Braking is to be done as hard and late as possible to ensure that your ABS kicks in, giving a nice, relaxing foot massage as the brake pedal pulsates. For those of you without ABS, it's a chance to stretch your legs.

7. Never pass on the left when you can pass on the right. It's a good way to scare people entering the highway.

8. Speed limits are arbitrary figures, given only as a suggestion and are apparently not enforceable in Toronto during rush hour.

9. Just because you're in the left lane and have no room to speed up or move over doesn't mean that a Toronto driver flashing his high beams behind you doesn't think he can go faster in your spot.

10. Always slow down and rubberneck when you see an accident or even someone changing a tire.

11. Learn to swerve abruptly. Toronto is the home of the high-speed slalom driving thanks to the Provincial Highway Department, which puts pot-holes in key locations to test drivers' reflexes and keep them on their toes.

12. It is traditional in Toronto to honk your horn at cars that don't move the instant the light turns green.

13. Remember that the goal of every Toronto driver is to get there first by whatever means necessary.

14. In the Toronto area, 'flipping someone the bird' is considered a
polite Toronto salute. This gesture should always be returned.

15. At least four more cars should proceed on a left after the light

What am I going to do? I have no summer job, no money, and so far no good prospects for either. As of now I'm up for anything (maybe the police are looking for a person to wear that funny suit and help train their attack dogs?). Well whatever, I'm sure I'll find something to do during the summer.

On an even sadder note, the leafs are out of the playoffs. At least we gave it our best shot. I mean two goals in the third period (wow, sitting on the edge of my seat) and such a good first 6 minutes of the OT. I couldn't believe it, I was so excited, and when Roenick scored i was so sad. But, there's always next season, GO LEAFS GO, THE CUP WILL BE OURS!!!

I was however happy to not go to school today and instead play jazz with a few people from school. That has got to be the best way to get out of school, I loved it!!! By the way, the judge really liked my playing and gave me a special mention when he was telling the audience who was good and who sucked. Go me!!!

Well I finally figured out what I'm doing for school next year. It looks like I'm going to Dal. Man Halifax is gonna be fun and weird. It was funny, when I was there everyone was so nice, and the whole city was made up of students, it was awesome. They even had a store dedicated to pot and pot paraphernalia. Lol hopefully I won't go in clean and come out dirty, but I'm sure I'll be fine. The one thing that I will say is that I'd better make some money fast because i plan to drink A LOT, and I don't expect it to be all that cheap ;). I'm happy that I'm going somewhere where I want to be, but I'm sad because it's going to be so hard to adjust to not having all my friends around me. I've made some really good ones over the years, and i don't really know what I'm going to do without them. Obviously I'll keep in touch on MSN, and the phone, but it just won't be the same as seeing them everyday or every weekend. But I'm sure I'll figure it out when the time comes. I'm definitely getting a web-cam once i get my laptop so I can at least see some of the people. But I'm sure Halifax is going to be a lot of fun and I'll make new friends and "experience" a lot of new things. Oh and I'm, sure the school will be good also, hehehe.

I can't believe that school is almost over, what happened? Prom is in a month and I still have no plans. Hopefully that will all pan out for me as well. All I can say is that I'd better do well on my exams or I'm fucked. Exams suck!!! Just gotta work hard I guess. Hopefully I wont fuck up.

LOL, sorry Jen and Acra, I know I should be ding more with my livejournal but I;ve been obscenely busy with school and family shit. But now that some of it has blown over, I'm ready to start writing.

You might be asking yourself what's been going on with me lately so i guess i gotta spill. Unfortunately my aunt died on thursday so it's been a tough week to start with. Luckily i finally got to see my cousins (her kids) for the first time in around 5 years so that made me a little happier knowing that they still existed. The funeral was very sad and I had a tough time seeing my grandfather (her father) and my father so upset, but as time goes by It'll get easier for them...I hope.

Hmmm what else has been going on... I've decided to drop my photo class due to the idiocy of the teacher and my extreme dislike for her. LOL sufficed to say, the last few weeks in the class have been fun ;)

Actually one thing that made me really happy and sad at the same time is my brother going to Whistler for two weeks. I'm happy because i get to use his car for the entire time, but I'm sad because i don't get to go and ski the glacier in the summer with him. Just once I'd like to ski with my brother. I had so many opportunities to go this winter and every time i asked him to come with me he couldn't go because of "school". I guess that's no reason to be bitter, maybe he did really have school work to do but just once I'd like to go with him, see what he's like when he's not amazingly stressed and angry. Whatever, my time will come to ski in a big mountain and meet new people and all that stuff.

That's really I have to say right now, so I guess, until next time is the right thing to say...

Don't you just love it when you get fucked over by one friend and then shunned by the other for no apparent reason? Oh, and the best part is having to walk home in the rain and cold alone, when both of your "friends" own cars and live not 5 minutes from your house.
How did I ever end up with such great "friends"!!!

Best Movie Ever

Saw The Girl Next Door last night, and I was quite surprised. Finally a teen movie with an actual plot-line and humor all tied into a nice little package. I mean American Pie was great but the plot really went nowhere, you knew exactly what was goin to happen. This one had a few twists and well, Elisha Cuthbert just kinda made the movie. Ahem... Well just thought i'd spread some light on some good movies to see this week.

I just spent the last 2 and a half hours driving around, sending out resumes, and getting told "We'll call you". I actually have no idea what to think. If a store wants you you'd think that they would say something like we'll be speaking to you very shortly, or something like that. Instad they all say the same thing..."We'll call you". Why can't places just tell you right off the bat if they're even gonna call u. Meh...As long as someone calls me im happy, i need money.
